About Nicholas Kirgo Nicholas Kirgo is a Los Angeles-based composer, songwriter, and guitarist (not to mention an accomplished bazouki, banjo, and mandolin player). His strange and varied career has involved working with David Lynch, Angelo Badalamenti, Julee Cruise, Nels Cline, Mark Snow, A.J. Croce, Han Bennik, Les McCann, Camille Henry, Chris Mancinelli, Alex Cline, Dianne Reeves, Sean Callery, Mark Feldman, Buell Neidlinger, Christopher Young, Nelson Riddle, Debra Davis, Vonda Shepard, Jim Lang, Billy Childs, Lawrence Lebo, Stewart Copeland, and Stanley Clarke, among many others. He recently produced Secret Heart, the newest release by singer/songwriter Lauren Adams, and has performed in the bands The Vatcher Kirgo Duo with Mike Vatcher and The Persons with Vatcher, clarinetist Michael Moore, Sprocket Royer, Danny Petrow, and Ernst Reijseger. His band Otis, with guitarist/vocalist/percussionist Erica Sorenson, is currently making its debut album. |
